How It Works

With the latest version of the Goodtimer app, you’ll see the brand-new “Virtual Flip” feature on the Device Control screen. One simple tap lets you virtually “flip” your Goodtimer to pause Good Time. The lights and sounds will respond just like when the device is physically flipped upside down! And here’s the really cool part: once you pause Good Time, the app will ask which house rule wasn’t being followed, and then provide behavior-specific parenting tips and videos to help you guide your child back on track. When your child is ready, just tap again to unpause, and Goodtimer will light back up and continue right where it left off!

You can even use this feature when you’re away from home! Whether you’re out shopping, at the grocery store, or sitting at a restaurant, you’ll still have full control over your child’s Goodtimer device from your phone. It’s like having your parenting assistant with you wherever you go!

What You Need to Do

Make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of the Goodtimer app from the App Store. If your phone is set to auto-update, you’re all set! And as long as your Goodtimer is connected to Wi-Fi, it should have already received the firmware update—so you’re good to go!
