A Personal Milestone

This product launch represents a significant milestone for Plus Up and for me personally. When our boys were young, my wife Stephanie and I faced our fair share of struggles with their behavior. To address this problem, we envisioned a fun and interactive family game that's motivates kids to make good choices on their own and serves as an effective tool for parents, helping them incorporate proven parenting methods into their family’s routine.

It feels like it was just yesterday that I was building prototypes out of wood boxes and kitchen timers in my basement. I remember those early days, developing the strategy and building prototypes while dreaming of a product that could genuinely help families like ours. Fast forward a few years, and Goodtimer has grown into a fully-integrated educational platform with a mobile app, WiFi connectivity, and data storage on the cloud. It's incredible to see how far we've come from those humble beginnings.

With Goodtimer 2 and the new Goodtimer app, parents can customize the platform for their family's values and the unique needs of each child. You can track your child's progress as they reach new developmental milestones, and the platform automatically provides behavior-specific resources during to help parents during those challenging moments. Ultimately, the goal for Goodtimer is to help parents teach their kids to make better choices, turning each challenge into an opportunity to learn and grow.
